Kypros Kyprianou

Kypros Kyprianou is running his own practicing firm under the name Rightax. Kypros Kyprianou has vast experience in almost all types of Cyprus and international business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, international tax planning, and tax optimisation, Cyprus tax impact on CRS, BEPS, FATCA, Cyprus business substance, advice on Cyprus double tax treaties, advice, and representation on Cyprus tax rulings. He has launched a legal division to provide corporate and legal services solutions in almost all types of corporate and legal services in the areas of Cyprus corporate law, Cyprus commercial and Business Law – Cyprus companies formation, corporate contracts, estate planning, wills and trust administration, banking and finance and corporate dispute resolutions.

Kypros Kyprianou is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom (FCCA). After qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant with a local firm, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1997 as an auditor for International and Cyprus Companies. In 1999 moved to PKF and was in charge of a portfolio of International and Cyprus Companies, including large local entities until 2020.

Over the years Kypros Kyprianou participated and contributed in the structuring of Multinational Companies (MNCs) and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) including inter alia the proper allocation of Multinationals group risks, on the choice between capitalizing a business enterprise with debt or equity, on finance companies and payments in respect of loans between foreign companies, on intellectual property rights (IP), transfer of company’s seat and re-domiciliation across EU and Eastern countries, cross border mergers, set up and administration of Cyprus investment funds, Cyprus International Trusts, etc.
